VU Trailblazer Baseball offering camp on April 15 for kids ages 6-13

The Vincennes University Blazer Baseball Team will hold a youth baseball camp with instruction in all aspects of the game for children ages 6-13 on April 15 at VU’s Jerry Blemker Baseball Field on the VU campus. The camp will be 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and include lunch at VU’s Tecumseh Dining Center. It will be held rain or shine. In the event of rain, activities will be moved indoors at VU’s Beless Gym.
All players should bring their own equipment, marked with their names.
“This will be a great opportunity for children to learn from the Trailblazer Baseball coaching staff; we’ll cover all aspects of the game… hitting, pitching and catching and defense,” said VU Coach Chris Barney. “We think it’ll be a great time for everyone as they get the winter rust off and prepare for spring, which is coming quickly.”
