As a transfer student you may need to need to complete the VU Placement process before class registration. VU uses the following to determine class placement: Admission Requirements.

Step 3: Apply to VU

Complete the application process by December 31st each year for Early Acceptance. Application deadline is April 15th each year.

VU Scholarships from University Foundation
Scholarships and Grants

For first time applicants (including transfer students), your application for admission to VU contains your scholarship application. No additional form is necessary.

Step 4: Provide Information VU Needs from You

If you have less than 24 credit hours you will need to send us your final high school transcript. Complete this process after you have received acceptance notification.

Use the Parchment System found here to request your transcripts: Request Transcripts. If your school does not use Parchment, contact them directly about requesting your transcript.

Immunization and Medical Information

Send in your Immunization Record & Medical History/Physical Exam Form. Complete this process after you have received acceptance notification. You can find your immunization record on your high school transcript or at your local health department.

New Student Registration

START VU is our new student registration program that begins in
April for the fall semester and in November for the spring semester. -
Sign-up information will be sent to accepted students in mid-March for the fall semester and in October for the spring semester.

Accuplacer, or placement test, or admission requirements will need to be completed before
being contacted by an advisor to schedule classes. See Placement Testing. (anchor to Admission Requirements) -
