MEDIA ADVISORY: Design and Innovation Studio ribbon cuttings at Vigo and Franklin elementary schools

Media are invited to attend ribbon-cutting ceremonies to celebrate Design and Innovation Studios at Vigo Elementary School and Franklin Elementary School. Vincennes University has provided funding for studios at six public schools in Knox County.

The D&I studios are a collaboration with the Indiana Next Generation Manufacturing Competitiveness Center (IN-MaC) at Purdue University, and they are part of a large initiative VU is taking to develop STEM education exploration in the elementary/intermediate levels. The D&I studios are dedicated spaces within schools that are equipped with STEM technology.
